South Marsh

Minnekhada Regional Park, home to the Robert A. White Project, which is a waterfowl reserve built with the help of Ducks Unlimited Canada. This park has some very rough terrain and all manner of wildlife, including bears (not that I saw one), and it's quite a hike all the way around the marsh. It is located just east of Coquitlam BC along the west side of the Pitt River. Normally you can get a good view from the east side of the knoll, but due to storm damage, those trails were closed.
